What we do:
We make the tests and guidelines so that manufacturers of eCall communications
equipment can show that their product works properly and complies with EU
Directives.
Why we do it:
We
assist ETSI MSG to create standards so that eCall Network Access Devices (NAD)
can be tested and certified for operation on GSM/UMTS networks and demonstrate
compliance with EU Directives.

How we do it:
We are writing a test specification which will describe all of the tests
applicable to an eCall NAD.
We are writing a guide on how the eCall NAD will demonstrate compliance with EU
Directives.
We are producing TTCN eCall test cases.
Time plan for the work:
February 2010 until March 2011.
