Practical information to work in ETSI

Working hours 

Access to the office is possible between 7:30 and 20:00 local time. 

Support from the ETSI Secretariat Staff is normally provided between 9:00  and 17:30 from Monday to Friday. The ETSI Secretariat Staff has a flexible working time, with granted presence between 9:30 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 16:30.

IT support is provided by Helpdesk between 8:30 - 12:30 and 13:30 - 16:30.

The STF/TTF Leader must contact in advance stflink@etsi.org, if ETSI Secretariat support is planned to be required outside those periods.

The ETSI Secretariat services, except urgent IT support, will not be available during week-ends, French Public holidays and the closing days that are communicated to the ETSI Members at the beginning of each year.

Facilities 

Car parking: ETSI provides car parking facilities free to its members of staff, including STF/TTF Experts. This is located between the Main and Einstein buildings.

Taxi Services - ETSI negotiated prices with taxis:
Taxi requests must be done BEFORE the following times: 15:30 Mon-Thu / 14:30 Fri

Refreshments: Water, Coffee/tea/milk-chocolate are freely available and snacks from the vending machine are provided within the Einstein kitchen on the ground floor. In addition, there is also a kitchen located on the basement with micro-wave and fridge facilities.

Local lunch facilities (Walking distance):

- France Telecom Self-service - located to the right of ETSI’s main building. Open between 11:30-14:00. No booking needed
Cash and cheques accepted (no credit cards). Receipts are provided.
- “Faim prêt” kiosk: located on the garden grounds of ETSI premises (Einstein’s parking).
- Place Sophie Laffite: three restaurants, located close to ETSI premises. 

Health and Safety 

During the first session in ETSI, the FA Team (stflink@etsi.org) will provide the Health and Safety instructions that must be followed during the sessions in the ETSI premises:

  • Safety instructions 
  • Health&Safety acknowledge form

All ETSI common areas are non-smoking (incl. garage), experts wishing to smoke must go outside.

While in the ETSI premises, the experts shall wear identification badges. This have to be collected at the Reception, upon arrival and give back before departure.
