VERSION 53 (1 September 2026) includes the following changes compared with v52, published in December 2025:

RULES OF PROCEDURE

  • Art. 4.7 amended and 4.9 added to clarify the provisions applicable where an official elected by the General Assembly loses the support of the Full member they represent. [ GA(26)87a_008]
  • Art. 22 amended to introduce additional reporting channels for misconduct. [ GA(26)87a_006]
  • Annex 7 Art. 7 amended to clarify the provisions applicable where the Chair of the Board loses the support of the Full member they represent. [ GA(26)87a_008
  • Art. 8.3.9 amended to clarify the provisions and related processes governing the creation, extension of duration and cessation of ISGs. [ GA(26)87a_007]

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR ETSI MEMBERS

  • Amended with a section on “Reporting and investigation of misconduct” . [GA(26)87a_005]

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR BOARD MEMBERS

  • “Enforcement” section revised to introduce additional reporting channels for misconduct. [GA(26)87a_005]

POWERS AND FUCNTIONS DELEGATED TO THE BOARD

  • #25 amended to clarify the provisions and related processes governing the creation, extension of duration and cessation of ISGs. [ GA(26)87a_009]

TECHNICAL WORKING PROCEDURES

  • Clause 1.8.2 revised to fix a typo in “International Telecommunication Union (ITU)”.
  • Clauses 2.2.1.1.1, 2.2.1.1.1.2.1, 2.2.2.1.1, 2.2.2.1.1.2.1 and Annexes T and U revised to shorten the duration of the Public Enquiry + Weighted National Vote procedure and the Weighted National Vote procedure under both the ENAP and the SRdAP. [ BOARD(26)158_009]
  • Clauses 3.2.1, 3.2.2 and 3.2.4 revised to improve the processes and related provisions governing ISG creation, extension and cessation. [ BOARD(26)158_022]

ETSI DRAFTING RULES

  • Clause 3.2 revised to fix a typo in “of optional elements”.
