The ETSI Centre for Testing and Interoperability (CTI)
Within ETSI it is the task of the Centre for Testing and Interoperability (CTI) is to support the ETSI Technical Committees on the use of best practices for the specification and validation of base standards and the development of test specifications for Key ETSI technologies.
We can offer assistance with:
- advice on how to write good requirements;
- planning and defining validation and testing strategies;
- organization of interoperability events (Plugtests™) which includes:
- complete organizational and logistical event management;
- technical management (test infrastructure, test plans, reporting tools, etc.);
- provision of testing and interoperability expertise;
- channelling the feedback of event results into standards;
- event promotion and communications;
- planning, development and validation of test specifications and frameworks for:
- conformance testing;
- interoperability testing;
- leadership and provision of expertise to STFs dealing with testing;
- the use of specialized tools and techniques where applicable;
- the application of best practices in interoperability and testing;
- the application of best practices in protocol specification;
- provision of the Protocol Naming and Numbering Service
