Summary of MSG activities 

ETSI Technical Committee Mobile Standards Group (MSG) continues to update the Harmonized Standards required by the Radio Equipment Directive for the IMT mobile telecommunications family, to take account of the new specifications in 3GPP Releases.

This work is undertaken in co-operation with ETSI Technical Committee Electromagnetic Compatibility and Radio Spectrum Matters (TC ERM) in the Task Force for European Standards for IMT (TFES).

TC MSG provides also guidelines for assessing the conformity of eCall in-vehicle system devices with regards to essential performance requirements.
