ITS ASN.1 management tool
For the sake of management efficiency, a MANTIS TOOL is set up for the development of ITS Common Data Dictionary (CDD) (ETSI TS 102 894 – 2 and its future releases) and Message Format Specifications (ASN.1 or XML) within the work scope of ETSI TC ITS WG1.
Members of the Working Group are strongly encouraged to use this mantis tool to submit contributions, change requests and comments.
Members should use its ETSI account credential to log in the Mantis tool. Once logged in, members should go to ITS ASN.1 project and select the corresponding sub project to submit contributions. New contribution should be submitted as new issue, comments or change requests should be submitted as revision of an existing issue. For contribution submission, members are asked to entitle an issue report by following the naming convention [Element/message name]: + free text.
- Example 1: To submit contribution for a data element XXX, the reported issue should be entitled as “[DE_XXX]: change request title”.
- Example 1: To submit contribution for a data frame YYY, the reported issue should be entitled as “[DF_YYY]: change request title”.
- Example 2: To submit contribution for a message format ZZZ, the reported issue should be entitled as “[Msg_ZZZ]: change request title”.
To facilitate the rapporteur’s work, members are encouraged to use the Mantis tool as the unique facility for CDD and message format contributions. It also enables members to have a global view of work progress on CDD and message format specifications.
The mantis tool is used only for work in progress. Published deliverables are available for download on the ETSI portal.
