NFV Working Groups and TSC Terms of References

All ISG NFV Working groups are organized and operate according to the following common "Organization and working methods":

Organization and working methods

-Working Groups shall work in accordance with ETSI Directives and, in particular, the Technical Working Procedures.
-Working Groups shall include as inputs the existing Group Specifications and Group Reports delivered by the ISG NFV.
-Working Groups may create work streams dedicated to a subset of the Work Items in their scope or dedicate specific meetings (face-to-face or online) to specific Work Items to facilitate the management and progress of their Work Program.
-Working Group final drafts (Group Specifications and/or Group Reports) shall be submitted to the ISG NFV Plenary for approval.
-Working Groups will have face-to-face meetings complemented with online meetings. The scheduling of the face-to-face meetings shall be made in advance following the same guidance from the ETSI Directives as for an ISG meeting, and should be geographically distributed, whenever possible.
-Working Groups officials shall report on the progress of their Working Group to the Technical Steering Committee (ISG NFV TSC) on a regular basis, and to the ISG NFV Plenary and NOC as requested.
-Working Groups shall collaborate with the rest of ISG NFV WGs and TSC in order to ensure the consistency of ISG NFV specifications with use cases and requirements to facilitate the interoperability of ISG NFV-based solutions.
-Where applicable, cooperation with external bodies should be sought by the Working Groups in order to avoid overlap and duplication of work.
