Laure Pourcin

 Technical Officer

Laure joined the ETSI Secretariat as a Technical Officer in 2021 after an international career of 31 years in the Telecoms and IT Sector. After graduating from the Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom Paris, she was employed by Orange Group for ten years in international operations and business development, mainly in the USA and China. She later became Vice President of global marketing at Sema Group Telecom, a leading software product vendor and system integrator in the telecom sector.

Following the acquisition of Sema Group by Atos, Laure joined Atos Consulting, first as a Principal managing digital transformation projects at corporate clients, and later as the Partner responsible for the center of excellence on strategy and innovation. She later founded her own consultancy company and digital marketing agency. Lastly, she coordinated the EU-funded international digital cooperation (InDiCo) in ICT standardization project implemented by ETSI.

Since joining ETSI, Laure has supported standardization work in the technology areas of Human Factors and Accessibility, Environment Engineering, Cybersecurity, Quantum-Safe Cryptography, Smart Body Area Networks, and Reconfigurable Radio Systems, including the development of standardization deliverables in support of EU policy and legislation.
