TC AT Working Group Analogue
Terms of Reference
WG Analogue is the part of TC AT responsible for deliverables concerning
analogue technologies.
WG Analogue recognises that certain elements in this area may be also under
the responsibility of other TB’s, both within and outside of ETSI.
WG Analogue will act as a focal point within TC AT for matters concerning
terminals and these accesses.
TC AT WG Analogue is responsible for the production and
maintenance of ETSI deliverables for terminals and accesses using analogue
technologies, for example:
- analogue conventional technologies;
- analogue aspects of new technologies, e.g. xDSL;
- compatibility studies between POTS/ PSTN and other technologies,
particularly those sharing the same infrastructure.
The following are additional activities that will be
undertaken by TC AT WG Analogue:
- Contribute to the promotion at a global level of the existing basic
harmonising deliverables;
- Develop a consistent approach to standardisation of emerging technologies
and services with a view towards producing global standards.
