IMPACT Summary

IMPACT is an interest group of ETSI Members working to increase awareness of ETSI and its standardization work, to extend participation in ETSI and to promote ETSI's deliverables within the global market.

The IMPACT objective is to produce an action plan for each of nine targeted regions (Africa, the Arab countries, Asia Pacific, the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) and Russia, Central Asia, China, India, Latin America and the United States). This plan addresses two dimensions of promotional activity: institutional co-operation( i.e. promotion of the European standardization system, institutional communications etc.) and standards promotion. These regional action plans evolve constantly, adapting to new developments.
