Scope and Field of Application |
The present work item specifies a functional framework and specific requirements for the evaluation of AN agents in Zero-touch Network and Service Management (ZSM), in order to support systematic, standardized, and reusable evaluation of AN agent capabilities in network and service scenarios. The framework is oriented to agent applications in network-related scenarios and defines the basic requirements for agent evaluation, including evaluation objectives, evaluation targets, evaluation dimensions, evaluation metrics, evaluation methods, and evaluation processes, thereby providing a common basis for AN agent testing, selection, deployment, runtime validation, and continuous optimization. The scope of evaluation covers the core capabilities of agents throughout the full task execution process, including perception, analysis, decision-making, and execution. On this basis, the evaluation framework will also address the security, trustworthiness, and stability of AN agents.This work item is positioned within the overall reference architecture defined in ETSI GS ZSM 002. It fills the gap in ZSM with respect to agent evaluation and complements the existing body of work. | ||||||
