Title Integrated Sensing And Communications (ISAC); Security, Privacy, Resilience and Trustworthiness
Security, Privacy, Resilience and Trustworthiness for ISAC
Scope and Field
of Application
This work item covers key issues, threats, requirements and solutions concerning Security, Privacy, Resilience and Trustworthiness aspects in ISAC. The goal is to develop a framework for secure and resilient end-to-end ISAC operations and procedures, which will not only serve ISAC standardisation but also operators and the broader telecoms ecosystem for operationalising ISAC in a secure and privacy-preserving way. Work item builds on the comprehensive set of key issues identified in WI#4 and extends towards potential solutions. The scope includes:
i) Align KIs with main functions supporting End-to-end ISAC Operations / Procedures (e.g. Sensing Service Request Invocation and Revocation, Sensing Entity Discovery and Selection, Sensing Measurement, Sensing Data Collection & Transport & Storage, Sensing Data Fusion & Processing, Sensing Result Exposure)
ii) Focus on solutions to develop a Security and Privacy framework supporting ISAC architecture
iii) Explore Resilience and Threat Detection topics and the underlying potential technical enablers.
iv) Further evaluation of Trustworthiness in ISAC, Consent and Transparency mechanisms for privacy, Privacy vs Utility trade-off
