Scope and Field of Application |
This work item will address best practices for achieving a greener F5G Advanced network, with a particular focus on practices and standards that enable measurable reductions in energy and greenhouse gas emissions. It will review and assess current fixed network sustainability standardization and ICT enablement standardization efforts—including quantitative metrics and KPIs—and describe how they can be used as part of overall corporate sustainability measurements. Further, the work item will describe potential gaps, consider the full lifecycle environmental impact, and outline recommendations for additional sustainability standardization efforts in the future, incorporating input from relevant stakeholders. | ||||||
