of Application
This standard will describe the technical solutions for measuring:
(a) resistance to accidental drops;
(b) scratch resistance;
(c) protection from dust and water;
(d) protection from accidental spills;
(e) battery endurance in cycles;
(f) rated capacity of the battery;
(g) contact closure cycle resistance;
(h) insertion/extraction cycle resistance.

Standard will describe, at least, the apparatus to be used, the necessary steps and conditions to test the resistance to accidental drops, the determined defect(s) and the information to be given in the test report for each tested unit.

Standard will describe describe, at least, the apparatus to be used, the necessary steps and conditions to test the scratch resistance, the determined defect(s) and the information to be given in the test report for each tested unit.

Standard will describe, at least, the apparatus to be used, the necessary steps and conditions to test the ingress protection against particles and moisture stated as an IP code corresponding to the values provided in Table 5 of Annex IV to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1669, and the information to be given in the test report for each tested unit.
