Title	Quantum Key Distribution (QKD); Common Criteria Protection Profile – Key Processing Module PP Key Processing Module
Scope and Field of Application	The present document provides a Common Criteria Protection Profile for Key Processing Modules (KPM), which enable the secure key establishment of cryptographic keys with other certified KPMs, using QKD keys generated by QKD Modules. Keys can be established between nodes that are not directly connected by a single QKD link. This Protection Profile (PP) addresses a critical element of trusted-node QKD networks, and specifies its security model in a certification framework. The PP is applicable to KPMs in a variety of different QKD network architectures.
