Cyber Security (CYBER); Quantum-Safe Cryptography (QSC); Secure Implementation Guidance for Key Encapsulation Mechanisms and Digital Signature Schemes; Part 4: SLH-DSA SLH-DSA Implementation Guidance
Scope and Field of Application
This work item is the fourth part in a series of quantum-safe implementation guidance documents. It is intended to provide developers with guidance to aid the secure implementation of the quantum-safe digital signature algorithm SLH-DSA as specified by NIST FIPS 205. This will highlight some potential SLH-DSA implementation hazards; identify some side-channel and fault attack issues specific to SLH-DSA; consider some testing and formal verification aspects relevant to SLH-DSA; and briefly discuss the secure usage of SLH-DSA.
