Scope and Field of Application |
The present document outlines the technical details of implementing cryptographically generated addresses (CGA) for use with IPv6 protocols. It will be a guide to creating, using and verifying CGA, CGA++, and how they can be implemented specifically for the modern networking protocols of IPv6. The GR will also frame the use of CGA for IPv6 addresses in the context of blockchain applications as motivation for CGA. | ||||||
