Title Short Range Devices (SRD) to be used in the 40 GHz to 260 GHz frequency range Harmonised Standard for access to radio spectrum Part 2: Radiodetermination for industrial applications (RDI & RDI-S) equipment operating within 116 GHz to 260 GHz
mmW RDI & RDI-S
Scope and Field
of Application
This EN will cover SRD radiodetermination devices for industrial applications to be used in the 116 GHz to 260 GHz frequency range for devices that expose access to digital range profile or IF data and for applications according to RDI & RDI-S device classes in ECC Report 334.
This includes a detailed description of the wanted technical performance requirement, RX-requirements and fixed limits for all requirements (TX/RX) based on a clear test procedure. Equipment covered by the present document operates in accordance with results out of ECC Report 334 (previously SE24 WI71)
and the upcoming ECC/EC framework for UWB/SRDs for the range 116-260GHz.
