Scope and Field of Application |
Develop DECT-2020 NR protocol (MAC and layers above) conformance test requirements based on TS 103 636 parts 4-5 core spesifications definitions: - Developing test conditions and common test case parameters for layer 2 and above. MAC layer 1. Test areas specific for FT operation such as - Spectrum management procedures - Broadcast procedure - Network and Cluster Beacon transmission procedures - Random access resource allocation signalling 2. Random access - Resource allocation - Control data transmission - Data transmission - HARQ process test 3. Data transmission procedures using Scheduled data transfer - Resource allocation - Data transmission - Performance test - Resource re-allocation (inter FT Handover) 4. MAC Procedure test: - Association procedures - Mobility Procedures - Neighbouring discovery test 5. Security procedures - Integrity protection test - Ciphering test DLC layer 6. Service type 0: PDU TX and RX 7. Service type 1: PDU TX and RX with Segmentation and concatenation 8. Service type 2:PDU TX and RX with re-transmission 9. Service type 3: PDU TX and RX with re-transmission, segmentation, and concatenation, Test for DLC SDU discarding 10. Routing tests: - Uplink routing: Device is traffic source device and Packet forwarding functionality. - Downlink routing: Device is traffic target device and Packet forwarding - Hop-limited flooding: Device is traffic source device, Device is traffic target device and Packet forwarding CVG layer 11. Multiplexing functionalities - Endpoint multiplexing - Mux tag multiplexing 12. Service type 0 - PDU processing 13. Service type 1 - Sequence number setting - Duplicate detection - Ciphering and integrity protection 14. Service type 2 - Sequence number setting - Duplicate detection - Segmentation and re-assembly - Ciphering and integrity protection 15. Service type 3 - Sequence number setting - Duplicate detection - Segmentation and re-assembly - Life time and Flow control - Ciphering and integrity protection 16. Service type 4 - Sequence number setting - Duplicate detection - Segmentation and re-assembly - Life time and Flow control - ARQ test - Ciphering and integrity protection Annexes in the protocol conformance test specification - Test methodology and interfaces - Optional functions and procedures - Handling of differences between conformance requirements in different releases of core specifications - Reference tests conditions, generic test procedures, message IEs and parameters. The # test purpose is not intended to illustrate the sequences of test specification development. Test cases will be defined based on industry needs and contributions. |
