Title	ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standard for radio equipment and services; Part 1: Common technical requirements; EMC for radio equipment: Common technical requirements
Scope and Field of Application	Revision of EN 301 489-1 to make the following changes and additions: • Remove text required for this standard to be cited in OJEU. • Review all references and change where justified. • Review the impact on EN 301 489-1 of recent work revising the EN 301 489 series. • Review the impact of ongoing work in CISPR and IEC TC77 on the content of EN 301 489-1. • Review current specification of radiated emission testing • Accommodate comments received from HAS consultants and RED desk officer, e.g.: o Investigate the removal of references to clauses in basic standards that contain tolerances by adding necessary information into this standard without quoting tolerances or suitable justification. o Add informative annex explaining relationship between exclusion band and article 3.2 blocking test range. o Considering adding informative annex justifying not testing cables under 3m in length.
