Scope and Field of Application |
This work item will prepare the technical specification defining the requirements related to the introduction of dynamic re-certification mechanisms for reconfigurable radio equipment. These mechanisms support the reconfiguration of reconfigurable radio equipment after its initial certification and deployment. The requirements will ensure the continued compliance of the reconfigured radio equipment to the essential requirements of the R&TTE Directive. Within the EC, extensions to the R&TTE Directive have been drafted to enable the deployment of dynamically reconfigurable radio equipment. The corresponding technical and operational requirements will be detailed in this document. This work may make use of the reconfiguration use cases in TR 102 967. |
