Title Electromagnetic compatibility and Radio spectrum Matters (ERM); Short Range Devices (SRD); Radio equipment to be used in the 25 MHz to 1 000 MHz frequency range with power levels ranging up to 500 mW; Part 2: Harmonized EN covering essential requirements under article 3.2 of the R&TTE Directive
Generic SRDs (25 MHz to 1 GHz)
Scope and Field
of Application
Revision of EN 300 220 to amend, clarify or provide slight corrections on definitions, methods of measurements, requirements for wideband and narrowband equipment etc.
Consideration will be also given to making EN 300 220 more self standing in specifying parameters vs. operating frequency bands within the 25 kHz to 1000 MHz range. This with special regard to the European Commission Decision on Short Range Devices (2006/771/EC).
