Scope and Field of Application |
The new work specifies a reproduction system for immersive sound fields. It will include loudspeaker array configurations that are compatible with and may augment existing configurations from ETSI TS 103 224. Commonly used immersive audio format should be supported for the reproduction. The calibration and equalization procedure as well as verification metrics are also based on ETSI TS 103 224, but will be extended as needed. The primary objective is to develop a reproduction system that can be used for testing terminal that provide immersive capture capabilities, but the work is not limited to this application. |
