Scope and Field
of Application
This EN will focus on transceivers, transmitters or receivers utilising ultra-wideband (UWB) technologies installed in railway and road vehicles for location tracking applications. Equipment covered by the present document operates in accordance with current EC DEC 2019/785, current ECC/DEC(06)04 (annexes A1.2 and 5) and upcoming changes based on ECC Report 327 in the frequency range of 3,1 GHz– 4,8 GHz or 6,0 GHz to 8,5 GHz.
