Scope and Field of Application |
The objective of this study focuses on the security assurance of NFVI products. The outcome of this study expects security test cases for evaluating the security NFVI products. In designing the test cases, the security assurance methodology introduced in 3GPP specifications will be leveraged. Using the security requirements defined in SEC specs (e.g., SEC 012, SEC020, SEC023, SEC025, SEC026, etc.) as inputs, security test cases including testing goals, testing steps, evidence of testing results will be produced for evaluating if the security requirements are fulfilled by NFVI products. This study will not cover any aspects of onboarding or MANO. Relevant deliverables from other SDOs (e.g., 3GPP SA3) will also be considered as inputs to this study. Coordination and communication with other SDOs (e.g., GSMA NESAS) are also expected. |
