Title |
Electronic Signatures and Infrastructures (ESI); Procedures for Creation and Validation of AdES Digital Signatures; Part 3: Extended validation procedures; Sub-part 2: PAdES Creation and Validation of AdES Digital Signatures.Extended validation procedures; Sub-part 2: PAdES |
||||||
Scope and Field of Application |
EN (3)19 102-1 lays down the rules how to validate a specific signature format. The Extended validation procedures provide rules that a validation service can follow to decide if a document might be wrongly interpreted, even if the signed bytes have not changed. Subpart 2 covers format specific riks for PAdES. The aim is to specify what are the allowed and what are non-allowed changes? What visual changes can be introduced by allowed updates like signatures / timestamps /adding DSS directory. The goal is to have common rules to follow, which can also be references by ISO documents (which do not exist yet) and finally in a future part of ISO 32000. |
