Title Short Range Devices (SRD); Inductive and capacitive sensors to determine building structures in the frequency range 1 kHz to 148,5 kHz Harmonised Standard for access to radio spectrum
LF Building determination
Scope and Field
of Application
EN for inductive and capacitive sensors in the frequency range 1 kHz to 148,5 kHz in accordance with the essential requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU Article 3(2), for object detection and/or object classification inside building structures. The EN will cover EUT which are for use-case of e.g. for cable/metal detection inside walls, stud finding in light construction walls,…..
The work includes necessary updates/corrections based on EC assessment on version 1.1.1, experience made on the conformance test procedures (under article 3.2 of the RED) and the limitation on use-cases covered by the EN
