Scope and Field of Application |
Update document TS 119 612 that specifies a format and mechanisms for establishing, locating, accessing and authenticating an EU Member State trusted list. An EU Member State trusted list is a means to express trust service status information with regards to their compliance with the relevant provisions laid down in Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 and in its applicable secondary legislation. This update will correspond to the rewriting of TS 119 612 as the result of the modularization of the current TS 119 612 trusted list document in order to have one generic part independent from the EU context (new TS 119 602) and a specific part for eIDAS (revised TS 119 612). This update of TS 119 612 will be created by: - Referencing and building up on TS 119 602 specifications as the base standard, - Profiling the TS 119 602 base standard element to the Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 and its applicable secondary legislation (e.g. separating out non-eIDAS-related specifications between TS 119 602 and TS 119 612); - Retaining the existing structure and semantics as much as possible; - Annotating the specified elements to provide clear guidance how to use them in a concrete instance of the list; - Flagging those elements that are candidates to become optional due to be of pure informational character; - Retaining compatibility with version 2.1.1 of ETSI TS 119 612; - Considering changes and corrections in version 2.2.1 of ETSI TS 119 612; - Proposing backward-compatible corrections of elements when required, - Supporting the inclusion of service components in the trusted list that can be subsequently related to a qualified or non-qualified trust service. In the context of this work item, no change to the technical content will be done except as outlined above. When other items for change/deletion/enhancements are identified, their resolution will be proposed for being addressed as a separate work item. It will need to be backward compatible with v2.1.1. |
