Scope and Field of Application |
This technical report contains requirements on Emergency Smartphone apps and their interfaces in terms of human communication and data exchange with 112 emergency centres. The document makes an analysis of existing standards and specifications in the area and results in proposals for new standardisation in order to cover identified gaps. The report takes end-users’ widely varying needs for communication modalities and languages into consideration. The report also takes transition and routing into consideration in order to make it possible to implement emergency apps that perform according to available support for emergency apps in the most appropriate 112 emergency centre. Data exchange containing location and other data is supported. | ||||||
