Welcome to Transposition and Withdrawal

The NSO shall undertake to transpose European Standards (ENs) and European Standardisation deliverables (as appropriate) in accordance with clause 2.4 of the TWP and as stipulated in Article 7 in the ETSI NSO Agreement.


Features of the Transposition and Withdrawal Tool 
 
Transpose Allows Official and Voting contacts for NSO countries to update the transposition data of the country they represent.
Transpose via File Allows Official and Voting contacts for NSO countries to update the transposition data of the country they represent using a file.
Query Search and view facility which allows you to view all transposition data. You can select for which documents and countries the transposition data should be displayed.
Report Performance Generates a dynamic report containing the number of documents transposed by each NSO country.
Report Comments Shows all the comments given regarding the transposition of a document.

Transposition Periods 

Action Default period
doa Latest date of national announcement of the European standard or European standardisation deliverable Three (3) months after the publication by ETSI of the European Standard or European standardisation deliverable
Dop/e Latest date of publication or endorsement as a national standard Six (6) months after doa
dow Latest date of withdrawal of conflicting national standard(s) Six (6) months after doa (i.e. normally same as dop/e but if later, the European Standard or European standardisation deliverable is valid alongside the conflicting national standard(s))

After Transposition 

According to article 13.7 of the ETSI Rules of Procedures :
"The NSOs shall take measures to ensure the visibility of an EN at national level, either by publication of an identical text, by publication of an endorsement sheet or by announcement in an official journal within a short time after its publication by ETSI".
