Who may join |

Individual Membership :Member Companies affiliated with one of the 3GPP Organizational Partners are eligible to become an Individual Member of 3GPP. Observers:Observership in 3GPP is for potential Partners (i.e. Standards Bodies). This status may be granted by the Organizational Partners to an entity, which has the qualifications to become a future Partner. Guest Membership :Article 10 of the 3GPP Working Procedures permits the Organizational Partners to grant the status of "Guest" to an entity which has the qualifications to become a future Individual Member. This status is granted for a limited period, and allows participation in 3GPP meetings, the right to receive and contribute documents, but not to take part in decision making or to hold leadership positions. Partners:may be either Organizational Partners or Market Representation Partners. Organizational Partners:These are the standards bodies who have signed the Partnership Agreement. Application to become an Organizational Partner is open to any Standards Body by writing to one of the existing Organizational Partners. Market Representation Partners:These are organizations which can offer market advice and bring a consensus view of market requirements to the 3GPP. Application to become a Market Representation Partner is open to any organization by writing to one of the existing Organizational Partners. |

To join 3GPP please complete the electronic 3GPP application form which will be submitted to the contact person of the Organizational Partner you selected. You may also print and submit the paper version of the application form directly to the corresponding Partner. |
