Terms of Reference of ERM TG35 Co-ordination of ETSI radio inputs to GSC Project Type: Co-ordination Chairman:     Gabrielle Owen Reports to:     OCG and TC-ERM Title:               ERM-TG35 – Coordination of ETSI radio inputs to GSC Timetable:      Dependent on GSC schedule Background: The mission of the Global Standards Collaboration (GSC) is to exchange information between participating standards organizations to facilitate collaboration and to enhance the process of global telecommunications standardization in the ITU. The GSC today includes the Global Telecommunications Standards Collaboration (GTSC, formerly GSC) and the Global Radio Standards Collaboration (GRSC, formerly Radio Standardization (RAST)).  The central document repository of past GSC-meetings is: http://www.itu.int/ITU-T/gsc/index.html . For the GSC meeting of 2007 radio topics include: IMT-2000 Emergency Communications RFID UWB Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Automotive Crash Notification Support for Vehicle Safety Messaging Software Defined Radio Measurement Methods for assessing Human Health Effects to RF energy Public Protection and Disaster Relief Broadband Services in Rural and Remote Areas Radio Microphones and Cordless Audio Wireless Access Systems Communications on airplanes Task: The role of the task group is to provide coordination of relevant topics for GSC.  The topics to be coordinated are dependent on the agenda of the GSC and the agreed ETSI division of work. The coordinated output will be submitted to the OCG, however it is expected that all concerned parties take part in the coordination activity before the output is submitted to OCG.
