CSTACSTA is an Ecma International/ISO standard that enables a wide range of CTI applications from the desktop to call centres to enterprise wide communication applications. By defining a consistent and complete specification of services, events and behaviours, CSTA supports application portability across multi-vendor communication infrastructures using e.g. circuit-switched, H.323 and SIP protocols. Applications may access CSTA features using XML or ASN.1 standardised messages or via a variety of industry API’s such as TAPI and JTAPI.
