Responsibility

• Collection and definition of requirements related to energy efficiency engineering of HFC networks

• Collection and definition of requirements related to sustainability engineering of HFC networks

• Collection and definition of energy efficiency metrics of HFC networks

• Development and maintenance of guidelines for engineering energy efficient HFC networks

• Assessment of works by external organizations (such as the JRC) with regard to their impact on HFC network energy efficiency and sustainability
  
  

Areas of activity

• Creation, development and maintenance of Standards and other ETSI deliverables related to the area of responsibility, specifically

   o    Energy Efficiency Requirements

   o    Energy Efficiency Metrics

   o    Sustainability Requirements

   o    Headend Equipment

   o    Outside Plant Equipment

   o    Customer Premises Equipment

• Establishment of operational and engineering guidelines to share experiences and promote best practices

• Review and contribution to activities of other ETSI Technical Bodies and external organizations requiring expertise in energy efficiency and sustainability of HFC networks
