Igor Minaev

Currently Igor is the ETSI Technical Officer,  in addition to his primary role of the ETSI Technical Officer, he has a task to ensure proper coordination of ICT standardisation activities with Russia and CIS region countries.

Igor graduated in 1998 from the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) with Master Degree in International Telecom Management. He started his telecom career in the MTUCI Radio Spectrum Laboratory (1994-1996), continued (1996-2002) in the Radio Research and Development Institute, where he was responsible for the Telecom regulations and Radio spectrum pricing. In 2003 Igor joined ETSI as Liaison Officer with the Central and Eastern European Countries and since 2005 has been supporting different ETSI technical committees.

Igor has proven experience of working with and within international organisations both under the United Nation's umbrella (ITU, ISO, ICAO, IMO etc.), and on the European level (European Commission, CEPT, CEN/CENELEC/ETSI etc.).
