Tasks:
-
Develop generic and/or specific ETSI
SRDoc’s, Radio Standards for Short Range Devices using Ultra Wide Band (UWB)
technology for new Sensor applications.
UWB Sensor applications include, but are not
limited to:
- UWB
Sensors for building material analysis and classification,
- UWB Sensors Object Identification for
Surveillance
- UWB Sensors for Location Tracking for
indoor and outdoor
- UWB Sensors for vehicular and onboard
aircraft applications (except SRR)

Identify spectrum requirements to ensure
spectrum efficiency and compatibility with other
Radio services in co-operation with WG ERM RM
according to its Terms of Reference and working procedures.

Establish
liaison with both internal and external bodies, on matters relevant for the
development of ETSI UWB Sensor standards and regulations in accordance with
TC ERM and WG ERM-RM working procedures. Liaisons to ECC groups, e.g. SE21,
TG3, SRDMG,

Prepare input documents for TC ERM working
group EMC on EMC aspects relevant to devices covered by TG31C.

To work closely with other ERM TGs’ dealing
with Short Range Device applications (e.g. TG28, TG30, TG31A, TG31B) to
achieve cooperation in order to ensure consistency, and technical harmony
for ETSI Standards in the most cost efficient way.
