ERM TG31A: Ultra Wide Band for Short Range Devices Terms of Reference Project Type: Study and Standards drafting Rapporteur: Alan Dearlove, European Technology Services (EMEA) Ltd Reports to: TC ERM Title: ERM-TG31A – Ultra Wide Band for Short Range Devices Timetable: First report to ERM#27 Final report to ERM#33 Task:  The task is to investigate and develop generic and specific ETSI radio standards for Short Range Devices using Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technoloies under the direction of TC-ERM. TG31A will identify spectrum requirements for the production of its deliverables in co-operation with TC ERM RM.. Work plan: Ongoing. Other Issues/Remarks: Liaison will be established with both internal and external bodies, on matters relevant for the development of ETSI UWB standards in accordance with TC-ERM and ERM-RM working procedures. Inputs will be prepared for TC-ERM working group ERM-EMC on EMC aspects relevant to devices covered by TG31A. TG 31A should establish liaison with ETSI Technical Bodies and  other ERM TGs dealing with Short Range Devices.
