ERM TG25: AERONAUTICAL Terms of Reference Project Type: Study and Standards drafting Rapporteur: Jan-Eric Persson, Telia AB Reports to: TC ERM Title: ERM-TG25 – Aeronautical Timetable: To be advised Task:  The task is to take account of the needs of the aeronautical industry and relevant European directives, to produce the required European standards, studies and reports. Aeronautical standards, studies and reports shall be produced: In response to mandates from the European Commission By agreement from the aeronautical industry membership of TG25 By ETSI Special Task Force TG25 shall liaise, and where appropriate, make cooperation agreements with ICAO, EASA, Eurocontrol and other relevant aeronautical bodies to ensure compatibility and adequacy of the standards, studies and reports produced. TG25 shall take account of the requirements of ICAO, ITU and CEPT in the production of standards, studies and reports for radio communication, navigation and surveillance systems. In relation to aeronautical standards, studies and reports, TG25 will seek cooperation with ETSI WGs for EMC, Radio spectrum, satellite and surface transport matters.
