Terms of Reference of TG24:TETRA TAPS SRDoc Compatibility IssuesApproved at ERM Meeting 15 1 General
To bring together the interested parties in ETSI associated
with the EP-TETRA proposed Advanced Packet Service (TAPS) in respect of the
draft SRDoc with a view to the compatibility concerns expressed and seek to
achieve an early resolution, in advance of the next ERM-RM meeting 2 Guidelines
To work mainly by correspondence using a dedicated e-mail
reflector and involve: · 3GPP™ TSG RAN · EP
TETRA · ERM
SRD task groups · ERM
TG17 Advice from the R&TTE Steering Committee should also be
sought on any issue related to harmonised standards 3 Task Definition/Issues
To prepare a revision of the SRDoc for the formal
consideration of TC-ERM if a consensus position cannot be achieved. To prepare advice to EP TETRA as to the amendments that
would be required to the draft harmonised standard, at present on public
enquiry, to achieve compatibility with the adjacent systems defined in ETSI
standards. 4 Interface and Liaison
To liase with all interested parties with the objective of
obtaining a consensus within ETSI, if a consensus is not achievable to update
the SRDoc giving the positions of the concerned parties and offer to TC-ERM. 5 Rapporteur
